At Quay we are extremely conscious of the compliance based environment that we face today. Our Managing Director, with a 17 year career in the New South Wales Police, knows how to communicate with Police on these issues should they arise.
Quay people are carefully selected. They must possess a current New South Wales Security Licence, current First Aid certificate and Responsible Serving of Alcohol Certificate. We look for people who are customer service oriented and have sound verbal and written communication skills. Pre employment screening is conducted and all references are thoroughly checked and verified.
Quay people are impeccably attired in company uniform. At Quay we believe that the image of our people looking after your assets reflects the image of your people and property. Together we coordinate and train the workforce you see at your premises day-to-day.
Quay management are very hands-on, working with guards on-site and making regular visits and random call-outs to monitor client relationships and staff satisfaction. This is achieved through regular site visits by management. In addition, on a monthly basis, our managers conduct a “5 point Quality Assurance Audit”, where they cover off a number of areas, such as grooming, review of incident and log book entries, guard knowledge of site instructions and customer feedback, to name a few.
We look to up-skill our people by affording them the opportunity to participate in further training and development through VETAB approved courses.
Quay Security has a strong strategic alliance with a current Registered Training Organisation. It also forms the basis of our recruitment strategy for quality personnel joining our industry. We attend the actual Security Courses and speak to prospective employees joining the industry. At the completion of the courses, we screen and hand pick the quality recruits that fit the Quay criteria
